This pretty much sums up what it's like here in the south. We are coming to the end of the cold snap and things are looking up hopefully, but working on these helped me to realize that there still can be beauty in cold things. I really liked this picture because of the stillness of the water and the reflection of the make-shift swing, an old set of handle bars, over the water just waiting for warmer weather, the background hum of people socializing and relaxing, and the laughter and splash of the kids in the water... It'll be here soon enough, but, on this day, it looked lonely.
Wow! that is a gorgeous shot and a beautiful place~ That will be wonderful to shoot at in the summer. Best of luck with your new blog I saw you're starting...it's a lot to keep up with but a nice creative outlet too!
